BROOKE BULANDA

Brooke has been surrounded by the dance and tumbling world since the age of 2. She spent most of her younger years as a competitive gymnast, where she holds 3 state titles.  After years of injury, she had to make one of the hardest decisions, which was to leave the sport of gymnastics. This ultimately became one of her best decisions, as this is when she was introduced to dance.

She was a member of the Lemont High School Dance Team for 3 years before continuing to dance in college with Move 2 The Beat, a hip hop dance troupe at Grand Valley State University where she began choreographing. Brooke has continued coaching gymnastics since she was 16. Not only does she choreograph dance routines for our company dancers, she also choreographs competitive gymnastics routines at a local gymnastics gym.

She has coached levels from beginner to elite gymnasts and has loved her transition to teaching acro dance.  Currently she is studying to get her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Midwestern University, providing her with an additional injury prevention lens when teaching dance.  She is currently the coach for the Lemont High School JV Dance Team.
